What is IPL (Intensed Pulsed Light)? 

Constant exposure to the sun can damage the skin and cause common skin imperfections such as redness, freckles, age spots and uneven skin texture. And to help you combat this skin damage, IPL Skin Rejuvenation Treatments works to rejuvenate your skin and visibly reduce skin imperfections. Delivering intense pulsed light to the skin and is absorbed by unwanted skin pigmentations, causing the pigment to shatter and seal the surrounding small blood vessels. The heat energy of the laser stimulates new collagen production, firms the skin and reduces skin pore size, resulting in a more perfect looking skin.

What skin conditions does IPL (Intensed Pulse Light) treat?

How painful is treatment? 

During Skin Rejuvenation, you will experience a sting, pinch feeling and warmth during treatment. Nothing unbearable.

What can i expect after my Skin Rejuvenation treatment? 

Immediately following your treatment you may feel “sunburnt” and the treated area may be red for several hours. Clients who have pigmentation will notice the pigment darken after the treatment. If you have pigmentation and sun damage it will scab over the coming days post treatment and flakes off gradually over the next 2 weeks - if your skin does scab DO NOT SCRATCH, RUB OR FORCE THE SCABS OFF this will cause scarring.

Everyone reacts to treatment differently, your skin may not scab and flake - if you have pigmentation and sun damage it will darken and then lighten over the next 2 weeks post treatment. 

You can apply make-up straight after treatment and can go back to work.

How long until i see results? 

In the weeks after the treatment, the fragmented pigment is absorbed by the body leaving little trace of the pigment or freckle.

How many treatments do i need? 

Improvements can be seen with every treatment, but a course of 3-6 treatments is recommended every 4 weeks from maximum results.
